Karélia Brown and Matthew Ver Eecke tied the knot on Aug. 25, 2013. The outdoor ceremony took place at the San Sophia Overlook at the Telluride Ski Resort. The location was chosen as the couple met, courted, and fell in love while working as instructors for the Telluride Ski and Snowboard School. Both bride and groom graduated from college in 2013, Karélia with a bachelor’s in biology from Western State in Gunnison and Matt with a master’s in mental health counseling from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. The proud parents are Karel Miller and Wayne Brown of Dolores and Rico and Tom and Robin Ver Eecke of Los Lunas, N.M.
