Cortez firefighters check out a flipped pickup truck and trailer at Road M and U.S. 491 Wednesday afternoon. A small southbound pickup on U.S. 491 turned left in front of the truck shown above, and was hit and spun around. The truck above then hit a guardrail and flipped. The driver of the small pickup was transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, and the driver of the truck above was uninjured.
