President Trump speaks clearly for me

I am tired of listening to politicians, media and so-called “personalities” acting like they are speaking for me and much of rural America. President Trump speaks for me. In plain English.

Not every resident of Colorado, or Cortez, is a liberal Democrat, as your editorials and letters to the editor would imply. There are those of us who voted for and support President Trump.

The only reason the Democrats won’t support building a wall/barrier/fence for border security is because they want to keep President Trump from keeping another campaign promise.

Democrats would do well to remember that the farther the pendulum swings to the left, the farther it swings to the right.
