The Cortez Quilt Company recently held a food drive for the Good Samaritan Center. More than 30 customers donated a total of 400 items for the local food bank. Cortez Quilt Company matched the donation with another 400 items. Quilters are generous in so many ways,” said Childress. “This was a very easy way to give something back to the community and we encourage other local businesses to consider helping out the food bank and other local charitable organizations.”
